Whole Body Cryotherapy

During a whole body cryotherapy session, our state-of-the-art cryosauna fills with nitrogen vapor and a dry chill that drops the ambient temperature to a range of -160ºF to -240ºF. The cool temperature affects your skin’s surface, triggering your thermoreceptors to send signals to the brain making you ‘think’ you are freezing. This sends your body into a defensive mode by quickly transporting the body’s blood, nutrients, and resources to the organs in the core. During this process the body starts oxygenating your blood, flushing it of toxins and lactic acid. Immediately after exiting the cryosauna, your body starts returning to its normal state by increasing blood flow of your newly oxygenated blood back out to your limbs.

Your body responds to this increase in blood flow by dilating the blood vessels to distribute heat. The body starts absorbing the blood, which is now enriched with erythrocytes, oxygen, collagen, and other essential nutrients.

Local Cryotherapy

Like Whole Body Cryotherapy, Local Cryotherapy targets local areas that need additional relief from pain and inflammation by providing a jet stream of nitrogen vapors directed at the problem area. Each local cryotherapy session will be conducted by a trained cryotherapy technician and will take no more than 10 minutes, and reach temperatures of -200ºF.

In addition, Local Cryotherapy can be administered for aesthetic and weight loss purposes to tighten skin, by producing collagen while causing fat cells to release excess triglycerides.

Float Therapy

The deep relaxation state that you experience during float therapy assists in reducing stress by lowering cortisol levels. Blood flow is stimulated and endorphins are released. Studies have shown that float therapy can even help with depression. The endorphins released during a float last beyond the float session itself.

The extreme buoyancy that individuals experience when floating is essentially like experiencing anti-gravity. This allows those with joint or muscle pain much needed relief that they cannot get otherwise.

The combination of weightlessness, water temperature, increased blood flow, and endorphins provides relief from migraines. If migraines are caused by restricted blood flow, the increased blood flow experienced during a float session may alleviate migraine symptoms and possibly even prevent migraines from starting.

Floating can improve athletic performance by reducing recovery time between intense workouts. This helps athletes train their bodies faster and condition it harder.

Infrared Sauna

Unlike a traditional sauna, infrared saunas don’t heat the air around you. Instead, our technology uses infrared lamps (that use electromagnetic radiation) to warm your body directly and penetrates more deeply than warmed air. This allows you to experience a more intense sweat at a lower temperature. Our licensed massage therapists will provide you with a range of massage styles from light stroking to deep pressure. These include:

    This is a gentle form of massage that uses long strokes, kneading, deep circular movements, vibration and tapping to help relax and energize you.
  • Deep Massage
    This massage technique uses slower, more-forceful strokes to target the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue, commonly to help with muscle damage from injuries.
  • Sports Massage
    This is similar to Swedish massage, but it’s geared toward people involved in sport activities to help prevent or treat injuries.
  • Trigger Point Massage
    This massage focuses on areas of tight muscle fibers that can form in your muscles after injuries or overuse.
